The TVS Raider 125 has been updated for 2025, bringing in a series of new enhancements. The company has focused on introducing new features to bolster its position in the competitive 125cc motorcycle market. This is a direct response to strong competition from models like the Hero Xtreme 125R, Honda CB125 Hornet, and Bajaj Pulsar N125. Although there’s no official statement yet, a video that surfaced on social media has given insights into the upgrades.
A significant upgrade is the inclusion of a new rear disc brake system with single-channel Super Moto ABS, making it a category-leading feature. The bike showcases petal disc brakes and red brake calipers, matching the front disc, with a protective cover to preserve the brake’s performance.
The tire profile has been improved with broader tires; a 90-section front tire and a 110-section rear tire have been integrated. A fresh paint scheme has also been introduced. Initial images reveal the bike in a vibrant red and white color scheme, although the overall design is maintained.
Mechanically, the engine remains the same. The 2025 TVS Raider 125 retains its 124.8cc single-cylinder, 3-valve, air-cooled engine producing 11.2hp and 11.2Nm of torque. The 5-speed gearbox has also been carried over.
Other notable features like the LED headlight, LED taillight, and halogen turn indicators remain consistent, indicating that focus has been put on safety and cosmetic aspects, while retaining the established functional elements.
