The VLF Mobster 135 scooter has launched in India and is already making waves. Within three days of its launch, over 1,000 units have been booked, translating to roughly 21 bookings per hour. This quick uptake highlights the scooter’s appeal to the youth and scooter aficionados. The initial price is set at ₹1.30 lakh, an offer valid for the first 2,500 customers. After this initial period, the price will increase to ₹1.38 lakh, giving approximately 1,500 more buyers the chance to secure the scooter at the launch price. The VLF Mobster 135’s design, crafted by Alessandro Tartarini, combines elements of both adventure bikes (ADV) and streetfighter motorcycles. Key design features include twin projector headlamps, sharp body panels, and an all-LED lighting setup, which contributes to its premium look. The scooter is locally assembled in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, from CKD (Completely Knocked Down) kits. Targeted at young riders, it includes sporty color options. The scooter includes a 5-inch TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, keyless ignition, auto start/stop functionality, illuminated switchgear, and a comprehensive LED lighting system. It stands out by being the first 125cc scooter to offer switchable dual-channel ABS and traction control. The scooter uses a 125cc single-cylinder engine that generates 12 bhp of power and 11.7 Nm of torque. This engine specification makes the scooter one of the most powerful in its class. Front telescopic forks and dual gas-charged shock absorbers offer a stable and comfortable ride on various road surfaces. The scooter combines power, an appealing design, and advanced features, aiming to become a significant player in the Indian scooter market. With its attractive introductory price and strong booking numbers, the VLF Mobster 135 looks set for success in the Indian market.
