Windsor EV Leads MG Motor India’s Sales Growth, Achieves Over 40,000 Units Sold

The Windsor EV has been a success for MG Motor India. Since its launch, the Windsor EV has sold over 40,000 units in India and has been the best-selling EV for 11 consecutive months. The price of this SUV starts at ₹9.99 lakh with a battery-as-a-service plan, which includes a usage price of ₹3.9 per kilometer. In the beginning of this year, the line up was expanded with the launch of the Pro Edition, available in the Essence Pro and Exclusive Pro trims. Every variant is equipped with a 52.9 kWh battery that offers a driving range of 449 kilometers on a single charge. The Essence Pro trim is equipped with features like Level 2 ADAS, vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality. The Windsor Pro costs ₹13.09 lakh under the battery-as-a-service, with a battery running cost of ₹4.5 per kilometer. The starting price for this five-seater crossover is ₹18.09 lakh (ex-showroom) for those who want to buy it directly.
