The Mahindra XUV700 continues to experience significant demand, often leading to weeks-long waiting periods for customers. To meet this demand, the company has steadily increased production. Over the past four years, Mahindra has manufactured 307,283 XUV700 units at its Chakan plant in Pune. Production in the first four months of FY2026 (April-July 2025) reached 29,046 units, a 24% increase compared to the previous year. Approximately 6,624 units of the SUV are being sold each month. By the end of July 2025, the model was only 8,288 units short of reaching 300,000 sales in the domestic market, a milestone achieved in early September.
