New Delhi: Amid the latest killing of civilians in Jammu and Kashmir, former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Monday (October 18, 2021) stated that Biharis can settle the Kashmir challenge if it is left to them. The assertion comes after two labourers from Bihar had been gunned down by terrorists in Kulgam district on Sunday, taking the entire variety of civilians killed in focused assaults within the union territory this month to 11.

Earlier, incumbent Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar additionally condemned the focused killing of Bihari migrant employees in Jammu and Kashmir and stated that the incidents have created an “atmosphere of worry”.
Kumar stated he has spoken to Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and senior Bihar officers are in contact with their counterparts within the union territory over the incidents.
