BKU to look at ‘Virodh Diwas’ on Jan 31 if govt would not reply to calls for | Information

New Delhi: Bhartiya Kisan Union on Saturday (January 15) stated that if the federal government would not reply to their calls for then they may observe ‘Virodh Diwas’ on January 31.
Speaking to the media, Yudhvir Singh of BKU stated, “Until now, Centre has neither fashioned a committee on MSP nor approached us on it. Govt hasn’t eliminated the MoS whose son is concerned within the Lakhimpur Kheri incident. If govt would not reply to our calls for then we’ll observe ‘Virodh Diwas’ on Jan 31.”
In the meantime, BKU chief Rakesh Tikait knowledgeable that the union will go to Lakhimpur Kheri to satisfy affected farmers’ households.
“We’ll go to Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri for 3-4 days from January 21 and meet the affected farmers’ households. We’ll talk about and kind a technique on the additional plan of action of our agitation,” stated Tikait.
