Gujarat’s employees have a powerful new ally in Vatva, Ahmedabad: the freshly launched EPFO regional office, ‘Bhavishya Nidhi Bhavan’. Opened by Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister for Labour, Employment, Youth Affairs, and Sports, it’s already benefiting 4 lakh-plus workers and 21,000 pensioners from 7,000+ firms in Ahmedabad (partial), Anand, Kheda, Amreli, Botad, and Bhavnagar.
Boasting top-tier amenities, the office clears 50,000 claims every month—98% in 10 days or less—according to Commissioner Supratik Dash. This efficiency stems from digital integration and a streamlined single-window approach.
Its spot near NH-48, Rabari Colony Metro, and BRTS CTM ensures hassle-free access, a stark improvement over older setups. The 1,723 sqm structure, built for 10 crore rupees, prioritizes user experience with rapid PF withdrawals, updates, and more.
On-the-job voices echo the impact. ‘Connectivity is top-notch,’ said Hatu Bhai of Vires Cables. Umang Pandit from Melacron India highlighted the buzz: ‘Work that took 20-25 minutes now wraps in 5-10, boosting morale across the board.’
This initiative reflects a broader push towards accessible, tech-driven social security, positioning Ahmedabad as a model for EPFO’s nationwide network and directly uplifting countless families through faster, reliable services.
