India is poised to dazzle at BioFach 2026, earning the coveted ‘Country of the Year’ accolade at the globe’s leading organic trade extravaganza. Set for February 10-13 in Nuremberg, Germany, the event will spotlight India’s organic might, courtesy of an official nod from the Commerce Ministry.
Spearheaded by APEDA, this participation amplifies India’s voice as a steward of ancient farming wisdom and a key organic exporter. BioFach’s stature as the ultimate organic showcase has witnessed India’s decade-long ascent, now reaching new peaks.
The surge in scale—from booth size to exhibitor count—echoes exploding export figures, voracious global markets, and empowered grassroots players like FPOs. At 1,074 square meters, the pavilion unites 67 entities: exporters, labs, state bodies, cooperatives, and boards, unveiling treasures like organic rice, oilseeds, pulses, cashews, ginger, turmeric, cardamom, cinnamon, spice blends, herb extracts, mango purees, and pure essential oils.
Drawing from 20+ states including Karnataka, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, and Northeast gems like Meghalaya and Manipur, it showcases unparalleled diversity. Unique regional organics and processed innovations take pride of place, illustrating India’s dynamic growth in the international arena.
BioFach 2026 isn’t just an expo—it’s a launchpad for India to cement trade alliances, seize market share, and champion eco-friendly farming amid a worldwide shift toward health-conscious consumption.
