    He stated that at the state level, work is continuously being done to expand health facilities under the directions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai. The construction of a super specialty hospital in Bilaspur at a cost of ₹200 crore, the ₹231 crore e-tender for a new 700-bed integrated hospital building in Mekahara, Raipur, the ₹1020 crore e-tender for four new medical colleges, the recruitment of more than 800 medical officers, specialist doctors, and paramedical staff within one year through the National Health Mission, and the introduction of Hindi medium for MBBS studies in the state—all these decisions have strengthened health services in the state. Shri Jayswal gave necessary instructions to the health department officials for better operation and implementation of the schemes, stating that the benefits of health services should be ensured to the common people. Senior departmental officials, as well as officers from the districts, were present at the departmental review meeting.

The state government has developed Ambikapur airport at a cost of ₹80 crore.

    Maa Mahamaya Airport, Ambikapur has received a three C VFR category license. This airport is suitable for the operation of 72-seater ATR-72 aircraft.

    Chief Minister Shri Say said that work is also underway on a plan to connect Ambikapur with Varanasi, Prayagraj, Lucknow, Delhi, and Kolkata. Chhattisgarh has immense natural beauty, historical heritage, and eco-tourism potential. Places like Guru Ghasidas Tiger Reserve, Ramgarh hills, and Chitrakot waterfall, known as the Niagara of Asia, will now be easily accessible to tourists from India and abroad. Along with this, the expansion of air connectivity will also improve the investment environment. Our government has given special encouragement to enterprises like homestays and resorts in the new industrial policy, creating huge employment opportunities for local youth.
