Raipur. The central government has approved 8 lakh 46 thousand 931 Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is a scheme for the welfare of the poor. In the previous Bhupesh Baghel government, 18 lakh families of the state were deprived. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai along with Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Durg MLA Gajendra Yadav addressed the press at the Chief Minister’s residence regarding the approval given by the Central Government under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that this is a matter of happiness for Chhattisgarh. We want to convey our message to the people who were deprived of Pradhan Mantri Awas in the last five years during the Congress government.

He said that the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is a scheme for the welfare of the poor. 18 lakh families of the state were deprived during the then Bhupesh Baghel government. The Baghel government snatched the rights of the poor only because the name of the Prime Minister was mentioned in this scheme.

The Chief Minister said that during the elections, Prime Minister Modi had promised that a decision would be taken on this as soon as the government is formed. As soon as the BJP government came to power in the state, this decision was taken in the first cabinet itself. Due to the state government not depositing the state share, the central amount was allocated to another state.

He said that the Government of India has approved 8 lakh 46 thousand houses. People deprived due to the inaction of the previous government will get the benefit. Out of these, 24 thousand houses have been completed for the people of special backward tribes.

The Chief Minister alleged that the previous government had approved housing for 47 thousand 90 people by making a separate scheme, out of which housing was approved for 25 thousand people. We are not discriminating in the announcement made by the previous government. The remaining people will also get the benefit of the housing scheme.

Under the able leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the Union Cabinet has approved this scheme for the remaining 6,99,331 families in the permanent waiting list prepared on the basis of SECC 2011 data under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin and 1,47,600 families out of 8,19,999 families of Awas Plus.

We had requested Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan to provide separate Prime Minister’s housing for Naxal-affected areas. It is hoped that approval for ten thousand houses can be obtained. Surrendered Naxalites will benefit from this.

  • Mayor Dhebar surrounded over Moscow trip: Leader of opposition Meenal Chaubey accused him of misleading the public, demanded resignation…

Leader of Opposition of Raipur Municipal Corporation Meenal Chaubey has accused Mayor Aijaz Dhebar of misleading the media and the people of Raipur by raising questions on the documents shown in his press conference after returning from Moscow trip. She said that the name of the sender in the letter received by the Mayor is written as Deputy Mayor and there is no logo or seal sign anywhere in the letter. The summit held in Moscow was merely a discussion on the subject of transport and road infrastructure, in which transport experts from cities of different countries, development ministers of different cities, transport operators, innovators had come to participate, which Mayor Dhebar is calling his official trip.

On Monday, Raipur Mayor Aijaz Dhebar held a press conference in Raipur Municipal Corporation and shared information about the main aspects of his recent Moscow visit. He said that he participated in a round table conference with representatives of countries from China, Brazil, Central Asia, East Asia and Africa. In my speech, I expressed my views on traffic improvement. Along with big cities like Beijing, Bali, Moscow, we will now also become members of Transport Summit and exchange research and data with each other to improve transport traffic pollution.

Mayor Ejaz Dhebar said that he saw a presentation on international technology for running light metro in Raipur. An MoU was signed between Moscow, Russia and Raipur, India. In which, we will move forward with the intention of jointly cooperating to develop transport-road, infrastructure and improve transport systems between the two countries and will try to cooperate in the priority area.

At the same time, the Leader of Opposition today alleged that no agreement like MOU was signed in this conference, it was only a joint statement in which there is no mention of MOU for light metro. He has accused Mayor Dhebar of deceiving the public and the media and demanded his resignation.

Mayor Dhebar sent a proposal of Rs 10 lakh to the corporation commissioner for Moscow trip, but did not get approval

In her press conference today, Leader of Opposition Meenal Chaubey accused Mayor Dhebar of releasing the documents of the proposal of Rs. 10 lakhs sent for her Moscow trip and trying to hide the proposal sent to the government for a personal trip. She said if this was an official trip of Mayor Dhebar, then why did she not get the approval. The documents released included the details of the food, accommodation and travel expenses made by the agent of The Travel Gallery and the proposal to the Corporation Commissioner for approval of Rs. 10 lakhs. The Leader of Opposition says that this proves that the trip which the Mayor is calling official was actually a personal trip.

Know what Mayor Dhebar said about the letter:

On this, Mayor Dhebar said that a few days after the invitation, he had written a letter to the Municipal Commissioner to approve an amount of Rs. 10 lakhs for the Moscow trip, however, a few days later he got information that the Moscow government would bear the expenses of this trip.

The mayor shared the information in a press conference:

  • Under the leadership of Raipur DRM, new chairs were not installed at Raipur Railway Station… after the chairs that were installed broke, the officials placed dustbins

Raipur. Pratik Chauhan. Under the leadership of Raipur Railway Division Sanjeev Kumar (DRM Raipur Sanjeev Kumar), chairs may not have been installed for passenger facilities at the division’s only A-1 category railway station… but the chairs that were installed here have also disappeared and the railway officials have placed dustbins there instead of installing chairs.

The condition of Raipur railway station is getting worse these days. The condition of platform number 1 is such that the railway officials are not able to provide chairs for the passengers to sit. There are many sets of 3-person seating in which 1 chair has disappeared.

The railway officials neither got it repaired nor made any other arrangement for the passengers to sit in its place. For show, separate arrangements have been made for women to sit, but there is a shortage of chairs here too.

The condition of the seating arrangement for men is also worse. Broken and crooked chairs have been placed here. Passengers may suffer back pain after sitting on them.
