  • Congress’s dharna on deteriorating law and order situation in the state: Former MLA Vikas Upadhyay said- BJP government has pushed Raipur along with the state towards crime…

Raipur. Under the leadership of former MLA of Raipur West and Lok Sabha candidate Vikas Upadhyay, Congressmen today attacked the BJP government by organizing a one-day dharna at the historic Kabir Chowk of Ramnagar. Upadhyay said that the BJP government of 08 months has gifted only crime to the people of the state in return for their trust. He said that the people of the state have been gifted heinous crimes including murder, loot, robbery, theft, chain snatching, drug trade, illegal liquor sale, gambling, betting etc.

On the other hand, criminals are emboldened under the protection of the BJP government. Murders take place openly on the streets of Ramnagar and then the criminals make it viral live on social media. Before any police action is taken against the criminal, the current BJP government does not react to it, rather they call to not take any action against him. The current government and the current MLA are sitting blindfolded and the previous Congress government had even started the tender process for opening a police post in Ramnagar, but the current MLA is not allowing it to start due to his stubbornness. Due to this, a murder-like incident took place in the same area where the police post was to be opened. Today, in protest against this, the general public and Congressmen held a one-day dharna at the historic Kabir Chowk in Ramnagar against the working style of the BJP government and the MLA.

Vikas Upadhyay said that two days ago, the convoy of former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was stopped, the soldiers deployed for his security were pushed and misbehaved with, stones were pelted at his car and when the Congress Party staged a peaceful protest against this yesterday, the people who had identified those who stopped the convoy were identified and lathi-charged. A Congress delegation will meet the DGP tomorrow at 3 pm regarding the attack on the convoy of former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and the lapse in his security.

Upadhyay said that in the Congress government of former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, there was complete control over criminals and crime, whereas criminal cases are increasing continuously in the entire state including West Assembly, Raipur city and the morale of the criminals is high. Did we elect them as MLAs to see these days, did we elect the government to bring such a situation, the Bharatiya Janata Party government is working to set a peaceful state like Chhattisgarh on fire and to mislead the public, the Chief Minister and his ministers, MLAs are saying on social media that we have built it, we will improve it. Whereas the real situation is that BJP did not build it but is definitely working to spoil the state of Chhattisgarh. If the Bharatiya Janata Party government is not able to curb crime in the coming days, then the day is not far when the public will be forced to protest violently on the streets.

Today in the protest at the historic Kabir Chowk Ramnagar, along with Vikas Upadhyay, city president Girish Dubey, block president Daulal Sahu, Devkumar Sahu, Ashok Singh Thakur, Shrikumar Menon, Babita Nathani, Dhananjay Thakur, councilor Maniram Sahu, Sundar Lal Jogi, Dr. Annu Ram Sahu, Prakash Jagat, Varendra Sahu, Rajesh Pal, Sohan Sharma, Tarun Shrivas, Bhagwat Sahu, Shiv Singh Thakur, Vikas Agarwal, Ritesh Tripathi, Kamalkant Shukla, Sohan Sahu, Lucky Thakur, Dinesh Thakur, Khushboo Kedia, Ishwari Namdev, Ajay Tiwari, Pammi Chopra, Shanu Diwan, Yogesh Tiwari, Ritesh Sahu, Demendra Yadav, Niranjan Pathari, Ajit Jagat, Ramdas Kurre, Kamat Sahu, Sonu Yadav, Ishwar Chakradhari, Prakash Das Manikpuri, Ishwar Jangde, Kundan Sinha, Suraj Sahu, Ajay Nishad, Dilip Gupta, Raju Tatibandh, Mukesh Chaudhary, Hemlal Nayak, Rukmani Yadav, Bhim Yadav, Bhupendra Shergill and a large number of Congress colleagues were present. are.
