The driver of the sub-divisional officer told the Additional Collector in a written complaint that Madam is travelling to Raipur, Durg-Bhilai to buy wedding items in the government vehicle, not only this, she is also filling petrol in her private car with government money. The Additional Collector has said that the complaint will be investigated.     Actually, the complainant Kamal Kishore Gangrale drives the official vehicle of Gurur Sub-Divisional Officer. Before 22 July, Sub-Divisional Officer Pooja Bansal went on leave and in her place Deputy Collector Prachi Thakur has been appointed as the Sub-Divisional Officer in charge. According to the complainant, on 23 July, the very next day after taking charge, the officer went shopping in the official vehicle CG 02 H0042 along with the driver in shopping malls located in Durg-Bhilai and Raipur. She stayed at her house in Bhilai at night. After this, the driver left the officer and the vehicle and returned to Balod by bus at 11 pm.

    Five days later, on 27 July, she again took the driver to Raipur in this government vehicle, did her personal work and stayed at Bhilai residence at night. The driver then left the vehicle and returned to Balod by bus at night. On 29th, the lady officer filled 50 liters of petrol in her private car by claiming it to be a government car. When the driver asked the officer about entering the record of this in the government document log book, he was removed from driving the car without giving any answer. Regarding this entire matter, the driver Kamal Kishore Gangrale has complained to the Additional Collector.

So far, this rare Golden Mahseer Fish has been found only in the Sikaser Dam in the whole of Chhattisgarh. However, 3-4 species of Mahseer Fish are found in Chhattisgarh.

    A source in the forest department told Lalluram.com on the condition of anonymity that an organization called Nova Nature had organized a camp for 5-6 days recently after getting information about this fish being found here and a letter has also been written by the said organization to the forest department for the conservation of this fish. The source said that the villagers are hunting this fish considering it to be tasty, the worrying thing is that when it is the breeding time of this fish and it goes to lay eggs on the opposite side of the water in strong current, only then the fishermen hunt it.

    Wildlife experts say that this fish weighs 17 to 20 kg, but due to continuous hunting, its weight has decreased because the fish are hunted before they grow properly.

    There are 47 species present all over the world

    The said fish is mentioned in a book published in 1848. This book was written by John D. MacDonald. It also mentions that the said fish is found in Chhattisgarh. According to the said book, there are 47 fishes of this species in the whole world. Out of these, 15 species are found in India, out of which Golden Mahseer Fish is one of the rare species and this has also been confirmed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

    Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. The High Court gave a verdict in favour of the deceased SECL employee after his death in a road accident. The High Court has directed the insurance company to pay Rs 1 crore 10 lakh to the family of the deceased employee.

    The deceased Hariram Rajwada, a resident of village Khapri of Takhatpur, was posted in the Kusmunda Mining Department of SECL. On October 27, 2022, at around 5.30 am, Hariram was going to Kusmunda for duty on his bike. On the way, the driver of tanker CG-07, CA-9468 coming from Pantora hit him while driving carelessly. Hariram died on the spot in this accident.

    Baloda police registered a case against the accused tanker driver and took action. Meanwhile, the deceased’s wife and daughters filed a complaint under the Motor Claims Tribunal for financial compensation. In this, the tanker driver, the owner and the Oriental Insurance Company, which insured the tanker, Old Bus Stand Bilaspur, were made parties.

    The court has directed the vehicle insurance company to pay compensation. The court has said that if the vehicle owner is depositing the premium amount on time to cover the risk, then it is the responsibility of the concerned insurance company to cover the risk.

In the accident, two people riding both the bikes have died, while the condition of a woman and a young man is critical. They have been admitted to SIMS for treatment.

    According to the information, Ramlal Suryavanshi, Ashwani Suryavanshi and Sushila Bai, residents of Amlipara, Sipat, were returning from Bilaspur after work. Ramlal Suryavanshi’s bike had reached near Nayantara College between Matiyari-Pandi. Then there was a head-on collision with a bike coming from the front. In this accident, bike rider Deepesh Suryavanshi, resident of Bitkula Harduli, died on the spot. Injured Ramlal Suryavanshi, Sushila Bai Suryavanshi and Ashwani Kumar Suryavanshi were seriously injured.

    On receiving the information of the incident, the 108 team reached the spot. The injured Ramlal Suryavanshi, Sushila Bai Suryavanshi and Ashwani Kumar Suryavanshi were given first aid and taken to SIMS. During the examination at SIMS, the doctor declared Ramlal dead, while the treatment of the injured is going on at SIMS. Sipat police is engaged in investigation in this case.

  • CG NEWS: Young man dies after drowning in Amner river, accident happened while he was having picnic with friends

    Amit Pandey, Khairagarh. A tragic incident has happened during a picnic in the district. A young man who had gone for a picnic with his friends died after drowning in the Amner river. This incident happened on Saturday when 20-year-old Piyush Arya went to take a bath in the river with his four friends. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and recovered the body of the young man. This incident happened at Kukrapat, a tourist spot located in the forest area under the Gatapar Jungle Police Station area.

    According to the information, Piyush Arya, a resident of Civil Line, had reached the tourist spot Kukrapat on Lanji main road by car with his friends on Saturday. During this, Piyush went to take a bath in Amner river with his friends. Where at around 2:30 pm, Piyush drowned in the depth of the river. His friends tried their best to save him and requested for help from the people around but by then Piyush had disappeared in the river.

    After the priest of Kukrapat temple got information about the incident, the Gatapar forest police was informed about it. After which the SDRF team was called to Kukrapat but the body of the youth could not be found. On receiving the information of the incident, Piyush’s family, neighbors and colleagues were present on the spot. The SDRF, Nagarsena and police personnel searched for the body of the youth drowned in the river throughout the night. After which the divers recovered Piyush’s body at around 6 am today.

    It is being told that the Amner river flowing through Kukrapat is filled with deep water due to heavy rains these days. The priest of Kukrapat temple had forbidden the young men who had come for picnic from bathing in the river but they did not listen. Despite this, the priest had instructed that no one should go into water below the waist but the young men did not listen to the priest and a young man died after drowning in the deep Amner river.

    After this incident, a wave of mourning has spread in the revered Sindhi community including Khairagarh Civil Line. Let us tell you that the deceased Piyush is the nephew of Khairagarh’s reputed businessman Vikas Arya. At present, the police have recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem and further investigation is going on.
