Later Shiv Sena and NCP broke away, and BJP, Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s NCP together formed a grand coalition government, in which Eknath Shinde became the CM.

    Elections will be held in Maharashtra in a single phase on November 20, in which voting will be held on all 288 seats. Nomination will start from October 22, which will continue till October 29.
