Chhattisgarh: Maoists launch image of the jawan of their custody

The CPI (Maoists) on Wednesday launched an image of a jawan from the elite CoBRA unit, to indicate he was of their custody. The image was launched a day after the Dandakaranya Particular Zonal Committee (DSZC) of the banned organisation issued a press observe demanding government-mandated interlocutors.
Within the image launched by the Maoists, CoBRA jawan Rakeshwar Singh Manhas is seen sitting on a plastic mat beneath a shed made out of leaves, presumably at a Maoist camp.

Manhas had gone lacking on April 3, following a fierce gun battle between safety forces and Maoists on the Sukma-Bijapur border. Within the aftermath of the ambush, our bodies of twenty-two safety personnel had been recovered.
