14 health institutions of the state got quality assurance certificate for quality health services.

Raipur 16 November 2024/ 14 government hospitals of Chhattisgarh, which provide excellent health service and better treatment to patients, have been awarded National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS) certificate by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. These include 10 Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub Health Centres, 03 Primary Health Centers and one Urban Primary Health Centre. The National Quality Assurance Standard Certificate has been issued by the team of experts of the Central Health Ministry after examining the quality of services available to the patients in these hospitals in the months of October and November.

State Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal has congratulated the health centers which have met the standards of quality assurance. He has said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, the health facilities in the state are continuously improving and the result of this is 14 government hospitals getting National Quality Assurance Standard Certificate by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Union Health Ministry has given 91.29% coverage to Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub Health Center Bhadarsi of Mahasamund district, 90.27% to Bade Temari, 91.93% to Jhalaap and 88.89% to Urban Primary Health Center Nayapara along with Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub Health Center Nawaparakala of Surajpur district. 76.09%, Dharampur 87.75% and Kanker District Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub Health Center Musarpatta got 94.2%, PV89 got 85.58%, Kodagaon 93.36%, Makrikhuna got 81.54% and Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub Health Center Thelki of Balodabazar district got 86.83%, Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub Health Center Chharratanagar of Raigarh district. 82.39%, Bastar Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub Health Center Jamawada of the district has got 88.99% marks and Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub Health Center Silyari of Raipur district has got 88.15% marks.

Before awarding the National Quality Assurance Standard Certificate, the hospital's services and satisfaction level were tested on various parameters by a team of experts from the Government of India last month. These include parameters such as available services, patients' rights, inputs, support services, clinical services, infection control, quality management and outcomes. Only those hospitals that meet these stringent standards are issued quality certificates by the Union Health Ministry.
