Baloda Bazaar:- After approval from the Sai Cabinet, the new Abkari policy is going to be implemented in the entire state from April 1. Under this, 67 new liquor shops are to be opened in Chhattisgarh. Surprisingly, provision has been made to open 21 liquor shops in Balodabazar district only. The Congress has surrounded the government on this issue and asked if it is preparing to make the entire Balodabazar district an alcoholic?
BJP used to talk about prohibition but
District Congress President Hitendra Thakur, Block Rural President Vikram Giri and City President Rupesh Thakur have also warned of a fierce demonstration if the decision is not withdrawn.
Talking to the media, he said that the BJP government claims good governance on the one hand. On the other hand, she is working to spread unrest and chaos in the society. When there was a Congress government in the state, the BJP used to talk about liquor ban. Now the same BJP government is going to push the society towards more intoxication by increasing the number of liquor shops.
Congress warns of movement
A committee was formed under the chairmanship of former minister Satyanarayan Sharma in the Congress government. Its purpose was to study the policies of various states for prohibition and take necessary steps in this direction in Chhattisgarh. Here the government is giving up and promoting it further.
The Congress has demanded that the government can cancel the proposal of new liquor shops. If it is implemented, the Congress will agitate. Will sit in the respective villages. The leaders said that instead of opening schools and hospitals, the government is increasing the action of liquor shops. This will have a negative impact on the society.
