According to the information received, there has been a fierce collision between a rice-loaded pickup CG 04 PN 3775 and truck number CG 07 NA 5071 near village Dongitarai on Navapara-Abhanpur road at 9.30 pm on Monday night. Let us tell you that the pickup was being driven by Rajim resident Purushottam Sahu. He was accompanied by conductor Kuleshwar Mandale. Purushottam Sahu died on the spot in the accident, while Kuleshwar sustained injuries at several places. He was sent to Navapara Community Health Center for treatment.
