Raipur, April 10, 2025 / With the goal of making the country Naxal-free by March 2026, the state government is creating a road map for the integrated development of the entire Bastar. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai himself will discuss this with the concerned department’s secretaries, commissioners, collectors, and stakeholders working in that area in Jagdalpur on April 15th and 16th.
On April 15th in Jagdalpur, Chief Minister Shri Sai will discuss four topics—agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries and related subjects, industrialization and employment, promoting tourism, and skill development including providing employment to youth in Bastar and other areas—with officials stationed in Bastar and various stakeholders working in that area.
On April 16th, Chief Minister Shri Sai will also review various schemes with the Collectors, Superintendents of Police, Chief Executive Officers, District Panchayat, and Forest Divisional Officers of the Bastar division.
In this regard, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Shri Subodh Kumar Singh, has issued letters to the Secretaries of Agriculture, Commerce & Industry, Tourism, Skill Development Department, and the Commissioners and Collectors of Bastar Division, giving instructions for necessary preparations. He has said that in order to accelerate the pace of development in Naxal-affected areas, especially in Bastar division, a roadmap for the development of all districts of Bastar is to be prepared. For this, the previously created document Vision @2047 “Nava Anjor” should also be reviewed and the points mentioned therein should be incorporated.
Shri Subodh Kumar Singh has said that the concerned departmental secretaries will be the conveners of these meetings and presentations. They will coordinate with the Divisional Commissioner, Bastar, to invite all stakeholders to the discussion. Approximately one hour of discussion time has been allocated for each subject.
