Laxmikant Bansod, Balod. An unknown youth was found in a half-burnt condition behind the temple of Killewali Mata situated on the hill on the way to Mahamaya Mines under Vikaskhand Doundi. Devotees who had come to visit the temple saw him and informed the police about it. The police is investigating the matter and trying to identify the body.
According to the Mahamaya police station in-charge, a young man and a woman who had come to visit Killewali temple from Rajnandgaon found a young man lying in a badly burnt state behind the Killewali temple on the top of the hill. 108 ambulance was informed about this and the burnt young man was brought down from the hill. According to the eyewitness, the young man was breathing till he was brought down and he was brought to the government hospital through 108 ambulance, where the doctors declared him dead. It is being told that the young man died while being taken to the hospital.
It is being told that when the injured youth was asked about his name and address, Asha Talkies Rajhara was the only one he could tell. Flammable material and matchsticks were also found in a water bottle at the crime scene. A Ranger bicycle was also found at the crime scene, which is said to be of this youth.
After the incident, Mahamaya police station informed the higher authorities and after taking necessary action, they are engaged in investigation by tracking down the youth.
