Today, beneficiaries and public representatives taking benefit of Mahtari Vandan Yojana planted saplings in Ramchandrapur and Wadrafnagar development blocks of the district. During this, Forest Divisional Officer Ashok Tiwari said that about 2 lakh 14 thousand women in the district are taking benefit of Mahtari Vandan Yojana. He said that these women participated in the tree plantation being done under the slogan ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’.
