CG CRIME NEWS: Young man and woman were missing for 40 days, skeleton found in the forest, police engaged in investigation

Purushottam Patra, Gariaband. A sensational case has come to light from the district. In Gobra forest, the skeleton of a young man and a young woman was found hanging from a tree and lying below. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation by registering a case. The forensic team is also engaged in investigating the case. This case is from Mainpur police station area.

According to the information, 40 days ago, on the information of disappearance of 21-year-old Bhumika of Mainpur police station area and 20-year-old Lakshman Markam of Tuhameta, Mainpur police had registered a missing person report and was trying to find them. On Sunday, police received information that some suspicious bodies have been found in Gobra forest. Police and forensic team were sent to the spot, where remains of skeletons were found hanging from the tree and lying below.

The bodies were identified from the Aadhar cards found in the bag lying at the scene. In the initial investigation, this case seems to be a love affair. At present, the police have registered a case and started investigation.
