Manendra Patel, Durg. A case of blackmailing a student by making a video in the washroom of a school in Bhilai and extorting Rs 5 lakh 80 thousand from her has come to light. In this regard, the father of the victim girl has lodged a complaint at Smriti Nagar outpost. Police have registered the case and started searching for the accused.
The video of the victim student was made a year ago. Presently the girl is studying B.Com. A student who was his classmate and his brother first made the excuse of his father’s illness and when things did not work out, they demanded money by threatening to make his obscene video made in the bathroom during school time viral. Out of fear, the student transferred more than Rs 5 lakh 80 thousand to his account.
When the student’s father came to know about this, he lodged a complaint in the police station. In this case, the police have registered a crime under section 34, 420 and started investigation. According to the girl, both the accused are residents of Utai, whom the police is searching for.
