CG Liquor Scam: The troubles of Anwar Dhebar, the accused businessman in jail in Chhattisgarh’s famous liquor scam case, are not decreasing. Anwar Dhebar was waiting for release after getting bail from the High Court a few days ago, but the UP STF team reached Raipur with Anwar’s production warrant to arrest him. On the other hand, as soon as they got the news of this, Anwar Dhebar’s family and supporters also reached the jail with an ambulance and are demanding his hospitalization.
Let us tell you that Anwar Dhebar and Arun Pati Tripathi, the accused in jail for making fake holograms in the liquor scam case of more than 2000 crores, are to appear in Meerut on June 19. For which UP Police Raipur had filed an application in the court and demanded the production warrant of the accused. On Monday, the court allowed two of the three accused Dhebar and Tripathi to be taken to UP. In this connection, when the police team reached Raipur jail on Monday afternoon to take the accused to UP, the jail administration stopped them from taking them to UP citing ill health of these accused. After this, on Tuesday afternoon, a team of UP Police reached Raipur Central Jail and started the process of arresting Anwar and Tripathi, the accused in jail in the liquor scam. Now it remains to be seen whether Anwar Dhebar gets released or the UP STF team takes him into custody.
Anwar got bail from High Court
Let us tell you that the High Court has granted bail to Anwar Dhebar, who is involved in the liquor scam case in Chhattisgarh, on the basis of medical grounds as well as relief given to other accused in the case. Earlier, other accused in this case have already got relief from the Supreme Court. Dhebar’s lawyer Saurabh Dangi requested the High Court to grant bail for treatment on medical grounds. He also said that Anwar has kidney disease and he is having difficulty in urinating. During the hearing, it was also argued that Dhebar is undergoing treatment, for which he needs to go to the hospital. Guards are not being provided in the jail, due to which treatment is not being done.
