Raipur. Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra will start from Jagannath temple located in Gayatri Nagar today. A grand puja will be performed before the Rath Yatra. Governor Vishwabhushan Harichandan and CM Vishnudev Sai will participate in the Rath Yatra. The Governor and the Chief Minister will participate in the puja at 11 am and will perform the ritual of Chera Pahara at the Jagannath temple.
Rath Yatra will start from these places in Raipur
Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra will be taken out in different temples of the capital. In which the Rath Yatra will be taken out from Turi Hatri Temple in Purani Basti at 3 pm. The Rath Yatra will go from Turi Hatri to Tillu Chowk. The Rath Yatra will leave from the Jagannath Temple located in Gayatri Nagar at 3 pm. From here the Rath Yatra will go to Gayatri Nagar, Khamhardih Chowk and BTI. The Rath Yatra of ISKCON Temple will leave at 3.30 pm. The Rath Yatra will go from ISKCON to Mahadev Ghat to Amleshwar Bazaar. The Rath Yatra will be taken out from the Jagannath Temple located in Ashwini Nagar at 4 pm. The Rath Yatra will leave from Ashwini Nagar via Purani Basti.
Education department in action to repair dilapidated schools
Looking at the condition of dilapidated schools in the state, the education department is in action mode. In view of the monsoon, dilapidated schools will be repaired. The education department has issued a letter to all the collectors. In which it has been said that the money received from DMF or CSR or any other means will be spent on repairs. Instructions have also been given to stop the operation of dilapidated school buildings. At the same time, instructions have been given to use community buildings or other government buildings during the repair work.
