CG MORNING NEWS: Rajim Kumbh Kalp and Sirpur Mahotsav will begin, PM Modi will give a gift worth crores to the state, the names of Lok Sabha candidates will be discussed.

Nitin Namdev, Raipur. Rajim Kumbh Kalpa is going to start from today. In this, Sant Samagam will be held from March 3 to March 8. In which great sages and saints of the country including Shankaracharya will come to Chhattisgarh. Rajim Kumbh Mela has been organized continuously in the state since 18 years. The previous Congress government had changed its name to “Maghi Punni Mela”. Which has now been renamed as Rajim Kumbh. The history of Rajim is related to the exile period of Shri Ram. Rajim Kumbh will conclude on Mahashivratri on March 8.

Beginning of Sirpur Festival

Sirpur Mahotsav is also starting from today. A three-day fair is organized on the occasion of Magh Purnima in Sirpur, located in Mahasamund district, one of the oldest cities of Chhattisgarh. Which will run from 24 to 26. During this period there will be a special festival in Sirpur. Mahanadi Aarti will be done on the lines of Ganga Aarti. There will be programs by renowned local artists on all three days. A cultural evening will be organized from 3.30 pm to 10 pm. This time a bathing pond has been built for the first time in Sirpur Mahotsav. Special preparations have been made by the district administration for the festival. Indian Idol winner Abhijeet Sawant, Chollywood singer Sunil Soni and child artist Aaru Sahu will also make special performances at the event.

PM Modi’s gift to CG

Prime Minister Modi will give many big gifts to Chhattisgarh today. “Developed India Developed Chhattisgarh Sankalp Yatra” will also start from today. On this occasion, PM will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 10 projects worth Rs 34,427 crore. Work will be done on 9 projects worth Rs 18,897 crore and Rs 15,530 crore. “Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor” program of Raipur will be organized at 12 noon. Prime Minister Modi will also interact virtually with the beneficiaries of various schemes. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will be the chief guest and Tourism and Culture Minister Brijmohan Agarwal will be the president of the program. Apart from this, many BJP MLAs and workers including MP Sunil Soni will also participate in the program. There will be programs of “Developed India Developed Chhattisgarh Sankalp Yatra” at many places in Raipur district. Projects of ministries of coal, new and renewable energy, road transport and highways, energy and railways will start in Chhattisgarh. Projects will be started in Raigarh, Rajnandgaon, Ambikapur, Durg (Bhilai) and Bilaspur districts.

Names of Lok Sabha candidates

Bharatiya Janata Party will hold a meeting of the Central Election Committee today. In which the first list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections will be discussed. The names of candidates for five Lok Sabha seats of Chhattisgarh will also be decided in it. State in-charge Om Mathur and co-in-charge Nitin Nabin will also attend the meeting. BJP has conducted a survey in every state regarding candidate selection. CM Vishnudev Sai, Deputy CM Arun Sao, Vijay Sharma, State President Kiran Dev Singh, State Organization General Secretary Pawan Sai will also go to Delhi to attend the meeting.
