CG News: Chhattisgarh police is looking for a ‘chicken thief’… stole 9 chickens, police filed FIR… accused absconding

CG News: A shopkeeper has filed a report with the police about the theft of his 9 chickens. The entire case is of Durg Kotwali police station. The shopkeeper claims that two thieves have been caught stealing chickens in the CCTV camera installed in the shop. After which he has filed this report in the police station.

According to the FIR, the thieves did not spare even the 20-30 rupees change (1,5 and 10 rupee coins) kept in the shop’s cash box and stole that too. On the complaint of the chicken shop owner Salim Khan, the police have registered a crime under sections 380,457,34.

City Kotwali police said that Subhash Nagar resident Salim Khan (32 years) has a chicken shop in the name of Aziz Poultry in Indira Market Durg. He lodged a report that on May 23 at 10 pm he locked the shop and went home. The next day when he came to open the shop at 8 am, he saw that the lock of the shop shutter was broken. When he opened the shutter cash box, the change and the photocopy of his Aadhar card kept in the cash box were missing. Later, when the chickens left inside were counted, 9 out of the total 11 chickens were missing. Another shopkeeper nearby, Mohammad Anees, also told the police that an unknown person had stolen 12 chickens from his shop and 16 chickens from Manmohan Singh’s shop a few days ago. Now Durg police is searching for this chicken thief.
