Local people said that drinking the water here is causing diarrhea. Earlier water used to come here by tanker, but the water supply has stopped. Water was not being supplied for a week or two, so people were drinking water from bores here, due to which diarrhea has spread.
District Medical Officer Dr. Mithlesh Chaudhary told that our team is deployed there. Along with treatment, people are also being made aware about those who need treatment. They are being provided treatment by setting up a camp there. 12 people have been admitted to Mekahara.
He said that about 25 people had diarrhea. Not a single one is in serious condition. Everyone’s condition is normal. A camp has been set up and treatment is being done there. Teams are deployed for treatment, ambulance has been deployed there.
