CG News: The first training of polling party officers under Lok Sabha Elections-2024 was organized at Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT), Durg on 12th and 13th April. 10 officers and employees did not participate in the training. As a result of not being present for duty on the training date, show cause notice was issued to the absent officers and employees by the Chief Executive Officer and Nodal Officer (Training) of the District Panchayat. Due to the reply to the said notice not being received in time/not being satisfactory, the Chief Executive Officer and Nodal Officer (Training) of the District Panchayat sent the proposal for suspension of the absent officers and employees to the Collector and District Election Officer Ms. Richa Prakash Chaudhary.
As a result of negligence, Collector Ms. Richa Prakash Chaudhary has suspended 10 officers and employees with immediate effect. They will be eligible for subsistence allowances during the suspension period. Also, the headquarters has been fixed for his suspension period.
