Rajnandgaon. Since the defeat, there has been a ruckus inside the Congress, while the workers of the Congress are getting angry on the big leaders of the Congress. Meanwhile, a big news has come from Rajnandgaon, where Congress District President Bhagwat Sahu of Rajnandgaon district has resigned as president. District Congress Rural President and District Sahu Samaj President Bhagwat Sahu has resigned from his post accusing the Congress party of internal conspiracy and neglect. On 3 February, he wrote a letter to former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel informed about this. Bhagwat Sahu today made many allegations against the organization with pregnancy at the Press Club. Currently, after losing in the Zilla Panchayat elections, the party also said that there is no cooperation.
Bhagwat Sahu said that he was fielded as an authorized candidate of Congress from Zilla Panchayat area number 03 Teresra, but the party leadership did not give him any kind of support. In contrast, some leaders of the city and rural areas together ensured their defeat.
He said that he worked dedicated to the party in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. Despite this, the party leadership neglected him. Making serious allegations against the leaders, Bhagwat Sahu said that the current MLA from Dongargarh campaigned against the rebel candidate. He made serious allegations against former district president Nawaz Khan. It is his own that these leaders used the rebel candidate Angeshwar Deshmukh by defeating the authorized candidate of Congress using money force and muscle power.
Bhagwat Sahu said in a letter to the former Chief Minister, “I had informed the party leadership about the situation in time, but my point was ignored.” I was confused and the rebel candidate was openly supported. He also mentioned that this incident has caused deep damage to the image of the Congress party and there has been dissatisfaction in the majority Sahu society. Bhagwat said that internal factionalism in the Congress is at its peak. Some leaders are engaged in weakening the party. When I fail to get justice myself, how will I be able to get justice to the workers? In such a situation it is not appropriate to continue in the post of president.
