Chhattisgarh: Drunk groom ran his car over villagers, many injured, villagers beat up wedding procession, bride refused to marry.

Amit Pandey, Khairagarh. In Vananchal village Mudpar of the district, an inebriated groom ran his car over the villagers who were watching the dance of the wedding procession. Many people have been injured in this incident. Some children and women have also been injured. After this incident the bride refused to marry the drunken groom. At the same time, the entire village together beat up the wedding guests including the drunken groom.

After the incident, the bride’s uncle reached Gatapar Jungle police station and lodged a complaint against the accused groom Naresh Sahu. Gaatapar Forest Police has registered the case and started investigation.

According to the information received, Naresh Sahu, a resident of Rajnandgaon, reached Mudpar with the wedding procession in an inebriated state after drinking alcohol at his own wedding and ran the groom’s car decorated with flowers on the people watching the dance of the wedding procession. More than a dozen people in Naresh’s car were injured. After the incident, the injured were sent to the hospital with the help of 112 and 108.

The groom and the groom ran away to save their lives in the morning.

After the incident, the bride refused to marry the drunken groom Naresh. Then the entire village together beat up all the wedding guests including the drunken groom throughout the night. In the morning, the wedding guests including the groom Naresh managed to escape from there to save their lives. Gaatapar Forest Police has registered the case and started investigation.
