Manoj Yadav, Korba. Thieves have become more courageous in the district. Thieves have broken into the house of the contractor brother of an Additional SP (ASP) and a Colonel in the Army. The thieves broke into the house by breaking the lock and stole the silver idols, gold jewellery and cash kept in the house. This incident took place at the residence of Shyam Goyal located behind Agroha Bhawan in Kotwali police station area.
According to the information, Additional Superintendent of Police Pooja Goyal is posted in another district and her brother Shyam Goyal, who is a contractor, had gone out with the family. When they returned, they saw that the lock of their house was broken and the stuff inside was scattered. The thieves have stolen gold and silver idols worth Rs 2 lakh 50 thousand as well as cash from the house. As soon as the information about the incident was received, Kotwali police station police and Korba’s CSP Bhushan Ekka reached the spot and started investigating. Let us tell you that this incident of theft took place behind Agroha Bhawan, just 700 meters behind Kotwali police station. At present, the police is trying to identify the thieves by searching the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby.
