Welcoming the chief guest President Draupadi Murmu at the second convocation ceremony of Raipur AIIMS, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that the proposal for Raipur AIIMS was put forward by former Union Minister Sushma Swaraj during the tenure of Atal Bihari Vajpayee as Prime Minister. The place for this was also selected by Sushma Swaraj, and today AIIMS with full facilities is operating at the same place.
Chief Minister Sai said that our government is continuously making efforts to make Chhattisgarh the medical hub of Central India. For this, we have sanctioned an amount of more than one thousand twenty crore rupees for the construction of buildings of four new medical colleges.
