Raipur. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai reached Jainam Manas Bhawan in Raipur, where he participated in the All India Workshop of Tribal Suraksha Manch. The three-day All India Workshop was inaugurated by CM Vishnudev Sai. The issue of conversion came up in the workshop. At the same time, officials of Tribal Suraksha Manch presented their views on delisting. He also talked about ending the reservation for those who convert.
In the workshop of Tribal Security Forum, CM Sai said, Chhattisgarh has 32 percent Scheduled Tribe population. Conversion was in full swing in last five years. Action was taken against the person who reported. Those who converted were made to sit in the police station and given tea. No action was taken on the officer’s complaint in the previous government. The previous government used to get conversions done for vote bank. 5 districts of Bastar are sensitive. Only tribal people live here, there are no basic facilities here. Even today, 14 thousand houses in that area do not have electricity. After our government came, Nella Naar scheme has been started.
Sai said, the government is fighting Naxalism. If you talk about bullets, the government will answer and if you want to talk, the government will find a way. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said, there are 12 crore tribal people in the entire country. Constantly working for the protection of tribes. It is the work of the Tribal Security Forum to protect the forest dwellers and tribals. The same system which is there for SC category in the Constitution should be there for ST also. Tribal people also have the same demand. There should be a system like SC for ST also. They should not get the benefit of being a tribe. Converted people are taking full advantage of this. Tribal Security Forum is continuously raising demands on this. In this matter, 28 lakh tribal people have already signed and submitted a memorandum to the President.
Congress has lost the trust of the people of the country: CM
Regarding the Congress manifesto, Chief Minister Sai took a jibe at the Congress and said, do you think that the Congress government will be formed..? “Neither Nauman oil will be there nor Radha will dance” he can do anything. Made 36 promises in the 2018 assembly elections. Not a single work has been completed in 5 years. No one believed in the assembly elections. Congress has lost the trust of the people of the country. Whether it says to give one lakh or does anything. Fill the form to give one lakh, where will you give the money from? Everyone is leaving Congress and we are facing difficulty in getting admission.
The more we abuse, the more we will benefit: Sai

Demand to make law for delisting
Officials of Suraksha Manch said, massive conversions are taking place in tribal areas including Jashpur Bastar. There has been a slight decline in conversions after the new government came to power. A law should be made for delisting. Also praised the work of the government in Naxal area. Officials said, the new government forced the Naxalites to go on the backfoot.
