Congress will take to the streets in protest against Income Tax Department’s notice of Rs 1823 crore, will protest across the state tomorrow

Raipur. Congress will take to the streets to protest against the notice of Rs 1823 crore given to Congress by the Income Tax Department. Protests will be held in all the districts on March 30 against the central government.

Chairman of Congress Communication Department Sushil Anand Shukla said, opposition parties are being repressed by BJP to fail Indian democracy. A conspiracy is being hatched to weaken the opposition economically. Last month in February, on the eve of the national general elections, an illegal attempt to freeze the bank accounts of the main national opposition party Indian National Congress lasted for more than a month. All India Congress Committee received fresh notice from IT department to pay Rs 1823.08 crore. Already the IT department has forcibly withdrawn Rs 135 crore from the bank account of the Congress party.

Sushil Anand said, a large-scale public torch procession will be taken out in all the district headquarters of the state on March 30 in protest against this serious attack on democracy and the imposition of tax terrorism on the Congress party in the midst of important Lok Sabha elections. It has also been decided to hold a protest. Next day, massive protests will be held in all the constituencies under the leadership of Congress Party candidates involving local senior leaders and party officials.
