D.Ed. Candidates protested in front of the ministry, demanding appointment on the orders of the High Court.

Satya Rajput, Raipur. D.Ed Diploma candidates have started an indefinite protest by sitting at the gate in front of the Ministry on Monday demanding appointment. Candidates say that according to the orders of the High Court and the Supreme Court, illegal recruitment has been done on more than 2800 posts of assistant teachers. It is the responsibility of the departmental officers to follow these orders, but the officers have ignored these orders. Seeing this situation, the candidates decided to demonstrate in front of the ministry.

D.Ed candidates Vikas and Avinash told that more than 300 candidates have reached Mahanadi Bhavan Ministry, Naya Raipur today. He said, “Our demand is that the education department should provide appointments for D.Ed as soon as possible as per the orders of the Supreme Court and the High Court.” The candidates allege that today it has been 8 months since the High Court order and 2 months since the Supreme Court order, but no action has been taken by the government and the department. The candidates have been sitting on strike at the protest site Naya Raipur since October 2, but till now no government representative has taken care of them.

The candidates have said that they have also taken Jal Samadhi and celebrated Dussehra at the protest site. Apart from this, he has also begged for justice by selling tea on the streets. Now, being mentally disturbed, they have reached the Ministry Secretary in large numbers and are holding banners demanding appointment letters.
