Raipur. Taking a big decision regarding the striking employees, the state government has reduced the action of dismissal of the striking employees to zero. An order has also been issued to approve leave for the strike period. Payment will also be made for the days of indefinite strike. For this, orders have been issued by the Directorate of Health Services to all the divisional joint directors and chief medical officers of the state.
Let us tell you that the health department employees had gone on an indefinite strike from 11 August 2023 to 21 August 2023. During the strike, action was taken against many employees under ESMA. Many employees were dismissed, while the salary for the strike period was also not determined.
Now declaring all the actions taken against the employees as void, the state government has also considered the strike period as a holiday. Now the striking employees will get their salary for the strike period.
