Raipur. There is an atmosphere of Mahtari Vandan Yojana everywhere in the state. Crowds of women have gathered in the camps being organized in all the districts to fill the applications. There is great enthusiasm among women about the benefits of this scheme. The process of filling a large number of applications continued on the second day i.e. on 6th February to avail the benefits of Mahtari Vandan Yojana started by Chhattisgarh Government to promote women empowerment. Under this scheme, 7 lakh 77 thousand 905 applications have been received in just two days. On Tuesday, the second day of application filling, more than 5 lakh 96 thousand women submitted applications. Till now maximum 61 thousand 994 applications have been filled in Janjgir district. Under Mahtari Vandan Yojana, 60 thousand 187 applications have been received in Mahasamund district and 56 thousand 826 applications have been received in Durg district.
As per the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, better arrangements have been made under the direction of collectors in all the districts to easily receive applications from eligible women under Mahtari Vandan Yojana and to provide them necessary guidance. To ensure that the process does not take much time, the administration has deployed employees to explain the eligibility rules and check the necessary documents. Women say that with the amount of Rs 1,000 they receive every month from the Chhattisgarh government, they will be able to meet their minor needs.

Under Mahtari Vandan Yojana, so far 23391 in Balod, 8791 in Balodabazar, 15522 in Balrampur, 35590 in Bastar, 37847 in Bemetara, 2428 in Bijapur, 37970 in Bilaspur, 14719 in Dantewada, 15863 in Dhamtari, 56826 in Durg, 56826 in Gariaband. 21189 , 61994 in Janjgir, 5367 in Jashpur, 9706 in Kanker, 30837 in Kawardha, 27396 in Kondagaon, 23348 in Korba, 8447 in Koriya, 60187 in Mahasamund, 16896 in Mungeli, 926 in Narayanpur, 18828 in Raigarh, 431 in Raipur. 26, Rajnandgaon 32776 in Surguja, 12735 in Sukma, 3063 in Sukma, 46682 in Surajpur, 24810 in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 16363 in Sakti, 8628 in Khairgarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 4159 in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur. 5743, 41392 applications have been received in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh.
