Sukma: An accused who cheated in the name of getting a government job has been arrested and sent to jail. The accused is accused of cheating more than Rs 9 lakh from the applicants. According to the police, the applicant Madam Sona, resident of Chichorguda, police station Keralapal filed a report on 24 April 2022 at the police station Sukma.
During the year 2020-2021, on different dates, accused Arun Kumar Dhidhi resident Mahasamund and Krit Lal Dhivar resident Mahasamund took a total of Rs 9 lakh in the name of working in the ministry, but did not get the job. On the complaint of the applicant, crime number 22/2022, Section 420, 34 I.V.V. Under the case, he started investigating. The accused was absconding since the incident.
Based on the information received from the informer, on 23 March 2025, the accused Krit Lal Dhivar, resident village Seoni, Tehsil Arang, Raipur were detained from Pithora, District Mahasamund. During interrogation, the accused confessed to taking the money, after which the accused was arrested and sent to jail on judicial remand.
