High Court took suo motu cognizance of Kawardha accident, hearing to be held soon

Bilaspur. 19 Baiga tribals were killed in a road accident in Kukdur area of ​​Kawardha. Chhattisgarh High Court has taken suo motu cognizance of this accident. In the coming days, this matter will be heard through PIL.

Let us tell you that 19 people died in a tragic road accident on Monday in Bahpani village of Kabirdham district. All the deceased were from Semrah village. Today the funeral pyre of 19 laborers was lifted simultaneously. The villagers bid their last farewell with tearful eyes. Deputy CM and Home Minister Vijay Sharma also participated in the funeral program. During this time, the guardian of the tribal society has demanded from the government to provide a government job and a compensation amount of Rs 1 crore each to the victim’s family. However, after the incident, the government has announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh to the families of the deceased and Rs 50 thousand to the injured. Also, instructions have been given for better treatment of the injured.

Regarding the incident, Deputy CM Vijay Sharma has said that the government is with the family of the deceased in this hour of grief. The government has stood with them in this hour of grief to provide all possible help.
