Balrampur. Santosh Kushwaha’s newborn child had died three months ago under Raghunathnagar police station. The police of Wadrafnagar police station established a path and got the post-mortem of the body done. In the post-mortem report, the cause of death of the child was stated to be heart attack. Now there is a new twist in this matter.
Actually, the ASI posted at Raghunathnagar police station was demanding money from the victim saying that he had given milk powder to the child. Due to which he died. Saying this, the ASI started demanding money from the victim again and again. When the money was not given, ASI Jabalun Kujur along with a constable reached the house of victim Santosh Kushwaha. After which he was called to the police station and demanded Rs 20 thousand from Santosh. ASI Jabalun Kujur took the first installment of Rs 9,000 from the victim’s father. Santosh was released from the police station on the promise of giving Rs 11,000 after a day.
When the matter came to the notice of the media, the ASI returned the Rs 9,000 taken from the victim in front of the media. It is being told that Santosh Kushwaha’s wife died during delivery and a baby girl was born. Who was being brought up by his father. But after 15 days the girl also died during treatment. Whose post-mortem was also done in Vadrafnagar Civil Hospital.
After this incident, a complaint was lodged by Santosh’s in-laws in Raghunathnagar police station that the newborn girl had been deliberately killed. At present, SP Dr. Lal Umaid Singh has taken cognizance of the matter and suspended the ASI.
