Leader… won’t follow the rules even a little! On the recommendation of BJP MLA Sampat Aggarwal, rules were flouted, head teachers sent to Bhandara service by a private institution, responsible people are playing with the future of children…

Hakimuddin Nasir, Mahasamund. The Block Education Officer of Pithora development block of the district has flouted the rules. On the recommendation of Basna MLA Sampat Aggarwal, a unique order has been issued to hang the future of children in limbo by giving 65 days leave to a Principal on behalf of a private organization for Bhandara Seva in Ayodhya Ram Temple Pran Pratistha. Where discussion of this government order is common. At the same time, top officials of the education department, seeing something wrong, are giving empty assurances of taking action after investigation, while reciting the same tune.

Let us tell you that the Block Education Officer of Pithora development block of Mahasamund district issued an order on 20 January 2024, in which Vishwamitra Behera Pradhan Pathak Primary School, Bijepur was named. The topic was regarding exemption from work for the consecration of Ram temple in Ayodhya. It was written next to it that as per the instructions of MLA Basna, Vishwamitra Behera Pradhan Pathak Primary School, Bijepur has been appointed for Bhandara Seva on behalf of Neelanchal Seva Samiti Basna in Ayodhya Ram Temple Pran Pratishtha, the concerned person will be given time for the said work from 23 January 2024 to 29 March. Till the work for this office is freed.

As per rules, a government employee cannot be sent to Ayodhya for Bhandara for a private organization. The head reader could have taken earned leave but no such employee can be given leave against the rules.

The District Education Officer has said that there is no information in this entire matter. The assistant director said that a notice will be issued and a reply will be sought. As per rules, leave cannot be given for this work.

It is worth noting that after this order, people are raising questions that will one teacher be able to teach 33 students from classes 1 to 5 in primary school Bijepur? Secondly, on the basis of which rule can a government teacher be relieved to serve in a private institution? Can an MLA make such a recommendation? However, it remains to be seen what action the Education Department takes in this entire matter or else the entire matter will become a political affair.
