MP Agrawal’s statement on the issue of keeping veg and non-veg together in hotels and restaurants, said- both should have separate kitchens

Raipur. The Food Department is continuously taking action in Chhattisgarh. Veg and non-veg are found kept in the same freezer in hotels and restaurants operating in many districts of the state including the capital, against the rules. Regarding this, Raipur MP Brijmohan Agarwal said that there should be separate kitchens for non-veg and veg in hotels and restaurants.

He said that in sensitive areas and wherever both veg and non-veg are available, such food establishments should have it clearly written. MP Agarwal said that we should not break the faith and trust of the people. When we go to America, England, Japan, it is written Hindustani Hotel, but the people who run it are Bangladeshis or Pakistanis. He said that efforts should be made to ensure that such a situation does not arise in our country.

Let us tell you, to ensure that people get the right quality food, departmental officials raided KFC, Pizza Hut and Momos Adda on Saturday. During this time, veg and non-veg food items were found kept in the same freezer in Pizza Hut. Regarding this, food safety officials have also issued a notice to make improvements within 14 days.
