Naxal couple continued their studies after surrender, Deputy CM Sharma congratulated them through video call on passing 10th

Pradeep Gupta, Kawardha. Due to the efforts of Superintendent of Police Dr. Abhishek Pallav in Kabirdham district, Naxalites are not only joining the mainstream but are now also paying special attention to studies. The couple Liberu alias Diwakar and Lakshmi Diwakar, who surrendered in the year 2021, gave the open examination of class 10th after almost 12 years, in which Diwakar passed with 35 percent marks.

It is being told that Liberu alias Diwakar Korram was a Naxalite carrying a reward of Rs 14 lakh. In 2021, Liberu joined the mainstream of the society and he is very happy now. Former Naxalite Liberu has expressed his intention to do police job. Today, Deputy CM Vijay Sharma talked to the former Naxal couple through video call and congratulated them and directed the Superintendent of Police to expand the rehabilitation scheme.

Superintendent of Police Dr. Abhishek Pallav said that under the rehabilitation scheme for surrendered Naxalites, there is a provision to give them land and money for a house. Benefiting from this, other Maoists will definitely join the mainstream in the coming days. He told that this year 200 Baiga boys and girls living in Vananchal were also made to fill the open examination forms, in which till now 140 children are reported to have passed.
