Ashutosh Tiwari, Jagdalpur. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a chargesheet against 3 Maoists in a murder case in a special court in Jagdalpur. The case is of Morkhandi village of Kanker district, where the Maoists kidnapped the villagers and after setting up a Jan Adalat, brutally murdered them in the forests of Modemarka. The Maoists in the case have been identified as Sannu Ram Atlami alias Sunil, Suresh Katlami alias Kachalami and Shankar Nureti alias Shankar.
The NIA had registered a case under various sections of the IPC as well as the UA(P) Act. The three Maoists against whom the NIA has filed a chargesheet are associated with Maoist Revolutionary Kishan Samiti, Mahila Mukti Manch, Revolutionary People’s and other Maoist organizations.
