Satyapal Singh Rajput, Raipur. Health Minister Shyam Jaiswal was making claims about better health system when the pain of a patient came to the fore. The pain was such that all his claims were exposed. The patient said that the doctors of the government hospital had said that his cancer-stricken mother would be operated upon within a week, but he kept wandering for treatment for a month. Then on the instructions of the minister the doctors provided treatment. Now a question mark is being raised on whether every person will get treatment only if he calls the minister? Also, instead of making big claims, there is a need to improve the system on ventilators.
Let us tell you that the health system of the state was exposed when Health Minister Shyam Jaiswal reached the state’s largest government hospital, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Mekahara Raipur for a surprise inspection. Where Suresh Kumar Patel, son of the victim, resident of Raigarh, told Minister Shyam Jaiswal that his mother suffering from cancer has been admitted in the hospital for the last one month. The doctors had said that the operation would be done in a week, but the treatment was not done for a month. After that, after getting a call from Minister OP Choudhary, the operation took place.
Further, he also told the minister that when some information is taken, the nurses and other staff misbehave. Doctors come in the morning and then remain missing the whole day. He also said that this is not the problem of one or two people but of everyone, which should be solved. After which Minister Shyam Jaiswal, after hearing the pain of the patients, immediately instructed the doctors for better treatment.
