Raipur. Private schools that have lagged behind in online entry for the High School and Higher Secondary Main Examination of Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education are being fined. Fine is also being imposed at the rate of thousand rupees per day, due to which troubled private school operators have written a letter to the Secretary of the Board of Secondary Education requesting for relief. Chhattisgarh Private School Management Association President Rajeev Gupta and Secretary Moti Jain told in a letter to the Secretary of the Board of Secondary Education that even in the previous years, no penalty was imposed for such delay. Not only this, there was no mention of late fee in the earlier letter also.

The association also argued that not only private schools but also Atmanand schools and government schools are lagging behind in entry, but no penalty is being imposed on them. In view of the situation, private school operators have demanded relief from late fees and orders to complete the process of online entry.
