Raipur News: FIR registered 2 months after the death of a worker in Fortune Metaliks… now investigation will be done

Raipur News: Prateek Chauhan. Raipur. Dharsiwa Police, after two months, registered a case against factory occupier Vikram Tamboli, Manager Amit Kumar and Shift Incharge Shashikundan Singh in the case of death of a worker in the blast that took place on February 21, 24 at Fortune Metalics Origin Iron and Steel Company, Kapsada, without providing safety equipment. A crime has been registered under sections 287, 304 A, 337, 338 on charges of negligence in getting the work done and causing death in the accident. After the FIR, the investigation of the case will now be completed as per rules, after which the accused will be arrested and the case will be presented in the court.

The accident happened on 21 February

In the said accident that took place on February 21, there was a blast in a huge iron smelting furnace. In which Mintu Kumar father Manish Kumar Rai, 25 years old resident of Muzaffarpur Bihar lost his life. Whereas Ajay Rai’s body was also burnt. A laborer, Rohit Rajput, had jumped from above to save himself from the hot iron during the accident and was injured. Both of them were treated in a private hospital in Raipur, but after the death of one worker, workers and villagers gathered outside the factory. Demonstration was carried out by setting up tents. Then somewhere the management announced compensation.

An accident took place in 2021 also, 2 laborers died

A major accident also took place on the night of 1-2 November 2021 at the Fortune Metaliks Limited factory located in Dharsiwan, adjacent to the capital Raipur. In the accident, two workers were burnt to death due to the explosion of the factory furnace. In this accident, the deceased were identified as electrician Kapil Kumar (48 years), resident of Bihar, and helper Bhupendra Patel (28 years), resident of Rewa Madhya Pradesh.
