Rape in Chhattisgarh: A case of rape of a student of Mandla in Madhya Pradesh has come to light. This rape is said to have taken place in a house located in Birgaon, Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. The victim has lodged a report of this in the Mandla Mahila Thana ‘Zero’ of Madhya Pradesh, after which the case reached Urla police station of the capital Raipur and here a case has been registered against the accused boyfriend under 376-IPC, 376(2)(n)-IPC.
This entire case is from Urla police station area. According to police sources, according to the report filed by the applicant in Mandla, she is a BA student and her friend committed the crime of rape by luring her with the promise of marriage. The relationship between the two lasted for about 1 year and now the young man has refused to marry. After which the victim reached the police station and registered a case of rape.
Raipur Police is now preparing to record the statement of both the applicant and the accused youth in this case, after which the accused will be arrested as per the rules.
