Arvind Mishra, Balodabazar. Balodabazar police has arrested an accused in the sex scandal case. On the basis of his involvement in the incident, accused Mahan Mishra has been produced in the court and taken on police remand for two days for questioning. Some other accused are being detained and interrogated. The police team is also searching for the absconding accused.
Today the police held a press conference in the case, in which DSP Nidhi Nag told that Mahan Mishra, an accused in the sex scandal case, has been taken on remand. A transaction of Rs 5 lakh has taken place in his account. On the basis of this, the police produced him in the court and took him on police remand for two days for questioning. The police team is searching for the remaining absconding accused in the case, on which success is expected soon.
When asked about the police’s involvement in this case, DSP Nidhi Nag was seen defending the police. She said that the investigation is going on and action will be taken once the names are revealed.
Let us tell you that in this case there is a lot of discussion going on among the public representatives, businessmen as well as police officers, employees, so called journalists along with the name of a tiffin food supplier also being involved in the transaction case. At present the police is certainly saying that the culprit will be caught but is not able to tell when the investigation will be completed. The police is also appealing to the general public that if such an incident has happened to them, then they can register a case by giving information to the Kotwali police station or directly to the SDOP Balodabazar.
