On July 13, two masked youths riding a motorcycle outside PRA India located near Udyog Bhawan under Telibandha police station area, fired a pistol with the intention of fatally attacking a person sitting in a car parked outside the office and fled. This incident, which took place in broad daylight in the capital, gave the opposition party Congress a golden opportunity to attack the government. At the same time, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai along with Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma had said that they would soon reach the accused.
Considering the seriousness of the case, IG Raipur Range Amresh Kumar Mishra and SSP Santosh Kumar Singh deputed a specific team for a specific task. Based on the information received from all the teams, an interstate operation has been conducted by establishing high level coordination in Gumla, Lohardaga and Ranchi of Jharkhand and Sirsa of Haryana. In which a total of 6 accused including 3 from Jharkhand and 3 from Haryana of the gang involved in the incident have been arrested so far. Along with this, the identity of 2 other accused has been confirmed.
In this case, a pistol, 8 live rounds and an empty cartridge case have been seized from the main handler Amandeep Valmiki. Along with this, the motorcycle used in the incident has also been seized. Further action is being taken on the basis of facts obtained after detailed interrogation of the 6 arrested accused. It was told that the main handler Amandeep has links with Aman Sahu gang of Jharkhand and a gang of Punjab, and in the said case, he had provided the shooter, vehicle and money.
So far, Amandeep Valmiki, a resident of Sirsa, Haryana, along with Ravi Kumar Sen (22 years), Laxman Das Bajigar (23 years), Sandeep Yadav (23 years), Shahid Ansari (22 years) and Shahid Ansari (25 years), both residents of Jharkhand, have been arrested in the case.
